OH&S Consultation Course
Employers must ensure that every member of an OH&S Committee and every OH&S Representative undertake Consultation Training. This course satisfies the requirements as stated in the NSW Occupational Health & Safety Regulation 2001.
This course provides participants with:
- Knowledge and skills necessary to apply the principals of workplace OH&S consultation as an integral part of an effective OHS&R management system.
- Appropriate attitudes to enable OH&S committee members and OH&S representatives to effectively carry out their functions under OH&S legislation.
Nominal course duration:
- Four(4) days at Six(6) hours per day, plus breaks.
Course outline:
- Workplace health and safety
- The role of OH&S consultation
- Effective OH&S consultation
- Systematic Management
- Action learning exercise
- Continuous improvement
- Summary and conclusion
Certification:
- Attendees will receive a Statement of Training at the conclusion of the course.
- Training methods place an emphasis on group discussion, group exercises and the interaction of course participants.
Continuing Professional Development (C.P.D) Points:
On successful completion of the course you are eligible for Continuing Professional Development (C.P.D) Points for the re issuing of your Builder (Contractors) Licence. Application for a Record of Attendance can be made upon Registration with a Letter sent to you after completion of the course.
